"If you wish to eliminate the per month additional outlet programming access fee,
this receiver must be continuously connected to your land-based phone line."

http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/customer_service/billing/fees/index.shtml
Additional Outlet Programming Access Fee = $5.00

Customers who keep a phone line connected to their two-TV receiver save money every month. Customers who do not keep a phone line connected to their two-TV receiver, will automatically be charged the Programming Access Fee monthly when the system does not detect a continuous phone line connection. The following two-TV receivers are subject to this fee: 322 ● 522 ● 622 ● 625 ● 722 ● 942

622/722 ONLY - if customer has a broadband connection through their provider it’s as easy as plugging in a CAT5 (Ethernet Cable) into their receiver. DISH Network installers will attempt to hookup, however, customers may have to refer to their specific network admin for specific hookups (via Router, Hub, etc ?).
PROTEST:  I am not responsible for a faulty installation.  I takes repeated attempts to connect to the phone line, but the equipment will not maintain the connection.  I am not liable for the monthly charge.
Resolution:
Call to CenturyTel on or about 2008-07-14 (Monday) 16:10.

Sandy contacted DishNetWork - She identified the tech as Gary.
Gary (8VQ) assured her that he would send a different field tech.
DishNetWork comes with a 90 day guarantee - no charge to do it right.

Tech Id = Tim - 2114 (This is the Same tech that did the original install on 2008-07-11) with a young boy, knocked at door. He asked me if there was a problem. I told him that they were not to have sent him. That he should go and that I would call DishNetWork.
Called CenturyTel: 800-201-4099
The call got shuttled to DishNetWork.
The Agent I spoke to said that a field foreman would call me.
No one called
2008-07-23 - went to http://DishNetWork.com/
Found 888-284-2557
All calls resulted in a busy signal.
Found Another Number: 800-333-3474
2008-07-24 12:15 (AM) Reached Carlos : He said that they have no control over who will come - they cannot schedule someone different.
I said that DishNetWork failed in that they sent an incompetent and abusive person here. I turned him away.   Carlos said that I have no recourse - that DishNetWork sent a tech to fix the problem, and I sent him away - therefore I am at fault.
Called CenturyTel: 800-201-4099
= Menu = DishNetWork =
This forwarded me out of CenturyTel to DishNetWork.
Julio = He told me to call at 8 AM

2008-07-24 at 08:15 (AM) I received a call from "Jennifer" from

Company Policy: A DnD (Damage and Destruction) report would have to be filed.  Then, the proper installation would proceed.  His boss from AEI, Greenbay, Mr. Marcello, would call for the appointment.  A "Claims Adjustor" would be sent.
Aaron - 2149 informed me that DishNetWork does not issue copies of the signed contract !!!!!!!!!
